Sheet Music
Our sheet music is created using the music notation program called Sibelius.
We draw from multiple Public Domain scores when creating our new typesettings.
Many of the sheet music typesettings on this site will begin with a translation page. If we can find a public domain translation that is not copyrighted, we will provide this. If we cannot, it is quite easy to find translations online with any search engine that are available for non-commercial use.
Often in vocal scores, the vocal line is notated without beams between notes. You can often see strings of 8th and 16 notes not beamed together, but having individual stems. We decided to update our typesettings to the more modern notation practice of beaming stems, not just in the accompaniment, but also in the vocal line.
Recordings
Our recordings are created using ProTools software and virtual instruments triggered by midi information. To create the initial recording, we perform all songs on a midi keyboard connected to a computer. We then use the software to polish the performance and transpose the recordings to different keys.
